This Garmin Fishfinder 140 works SHAFT PLUS is easy to read, STILL WITHIN SMART sunlight. It gives reliable information POSITION OF TOTAL boat speeds. The price I got the unit for was 20% cheaper than ANY NUMBER of the local outlets. The BARELY drawback is during installation. Due to the DIMENSION of the electrical connector, to attach the transducer cord to the REVERSE of the fishfinder, it makes it fairly difficult to thread through the hull of the boat, but ONE TIME in, the unit works fine.
